Cardinal Truss & Components is a division of Building Concepts, Inc. which began with Lutterbein Lumber in 1924 when Ben and Alma Lutterbein purchased a business that manufactured concrete blocks and burial vaults. Lumber and construction became the main thrust of the business by the 1930's.
The company continued to grow throughout the forties, fifties and sixties. In the early 1970's the corporations changed its name to Building Concepts, Inc. with Lutterbein Lumber Company being a division of that corporation. In 1979 Cardinal Truss & Components was added to the Corporation. Cardinal Truss is based in Columbus, Ohio and furnishes roof and floor trusses and other structural components to lumber yards and builders.
Cardinal Truss offers a full line of wood truss products which include: wood roof trusses, and wood floor trusses. We also offer I-joist, LVL, Rim board, and Glulam beams as well as Post Frame building kits. All of these items can be priced for your specific needs by our knowledgeable staff. We also now offer light gauge steel trusses.
Cardinal Truss & Components has been in business since 1979, and is a member of the WTCA. We supply structural building material to everyone from the do it yourself builders to major construction companies. We supply to all of Ohio as well as the outlying areas of Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Michigan. No project is to big or too small.
